It happened in the Embalse lake, nearby the nuclear plant of Córdoba (Argentina). Some compare that fish to the mutant fish from The Simpsons.

A real surprise lived young men who were fishing on Embalse Lake, nearby the nuclear plant in the province of Cordoba (Argentina): they managed to catch a ‘wolf fish’, called “tararira” in this part of the world, with three eyes.
“We were quite surprised, I said ‘what a freak’, but we are fishing”, says Gaston Guerrina, remembering the details of the expedition.
“Lot of people are coming to see it. We didn’t want to publicize it, but …”, says the fisherman.
They are not opposed to letting scientists study the wolf fish, but they only met curious neighbors and reporters.
“There is not much time” for this wolf fish said Gaston: for being out of the freezer all the time, the fish’s eyes no longer shine (Note to non-fishing: when the eyes are off, the fish is rotting).
“It wasn’t a nice feeling”, says Victor Machuca, journalist of the FM Voz de la Amistad (Voice of Friendship), in recounting his first impression when he opened the refrigerator door. “Seeing it gives a bad impression”, he adds.
The fishermen got into Facebook photos, searching for an answer. They’ve received messages from other fishermen, who think that a “genetic disorder” could be the reason.
Gaston is happy: he has a picture with a three-eye fish, the “dream” of a fisherman.
